The room rates were very resonable, around USD 35 per night per bungalow and the resort had power for 24 hours.

The resort can arrange transfers from Phuket or Krabi and now, in hidsight, that would have been the easiest way to travel. Instead we took a transfer from Phuket to Bang Rong pier, from there a speed boat to Koh Yao Yai harbour and a taxi from harbour to the resort and ended up paying even more than the resort's own transfer, which is the easier alternative. http://www.macmurph.com/photodb/album.php?album_id=3959&showowner=1&showmember=Eeva Part of the fish was dried in traditional way to preserve it. The ticket price of about USD20/person includes also transportation from town to the pier.
