New Bungalows

After a couple of nights in Joy Bungalows we changed to this resort. New Bungalows is a smaller complex than Joy and it is nearer to the village - only 15 min. walk. Price per bungalow with own WC/shower per night was less than USD20. Food in the restaurant was excellent. No power in the bungalows, only a few hours in the evening in the restaurant. We liked the 'feeling' in these bungalows. There are a couple of bungalow resorts on the island which provide power for 24 hours e.g. Woodland Lodge (owned by a British-Thai couple), Andaman Beach Resort etc. However, those resorts are quite full of children during school holiday times.
